Set amongst lush farmland enjoying breathtaking views of the mountain and surrounding scenery and centrally located to both the Mountain House and the Stratford township, it is only five minutes drive from the National Park, beautiful gardens, award-winning cafes and restaurants.

How to get to Platinum Lodge
Driving by rental car or limousine generally takes 4.5 hours from Auckland, 4.0 hours from Wellington and 3 hours from Rotorua or Taupo. From State Highway 3, turn onto Pembroke road towards the mountain and travel for 5km.

Helicopter transfers are available from New Plymouth, Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo and Wellington. Enjoy a birds eye view of Mount Taranaki/Egmont and be delivered to the front lawn of Platinum Lodge.

Scheduled domestic flights travel daily to New Plymouth from most New Zealand cities including Auckland, Taupo Wellington and Christchurch. Collection from New Plymouth airport is available.
